UK mainland: Delivery is within 4 working days of placing your order. We are still guaranteeing Christmas delivery.

Highlands and Islands: We can guarantee your order will leave us within two working days. Once despatched your order should arrive within 5 working days. Please note, unforeseen delays could extend delivery time.

EU and Europe: We are currently despatching orders within two working days.

If you are ordering to one of the following countries there is a strong possibility your order will be with you for Christmas – Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands – However we cannot guarantee delivery in case of unforeseen delays.

Rest of Europe see ‘Outside UK’ delivery information below for estimated delivery times, we will build and ship your order within two working days but we can no longer guarantee Christmas delivery.

UK delivery information

When should I receive my bike (UK)?

We recommend you allow up to 4 working days from the time of ordering until delivery of your bike.

Once despatched the bike should arrive the following working day, between 8am to 6pm. Delivery is not completely guaranteed in case of unforeseen circumstances, this may result in a delivery taking place outside of the estimated hours or the following working day.

You can manage your delivery using your consignment number and post code at our courier APC’s website. You will be able to see up to date information about the progress of your delivery including:

  • Estimated two hour time slot for your delivery.
  • The driver stop number for your delivery along with live tracking of your courier driver using the ‘Pinpoint your delivery’ service.

When should I receive my accessories/parts (UK)?

Large accessories and parts (such as Beinn 26 mudguards, helmets and track pumps) are sent via APC Overnight and should be delivered the following working day from despatch, between 8am and 6pm. Small accessories and parts are delivered via 1st class Royal Mail. We should despatch your parts order within 48 hours of receipt.


How can I track my order?

When we despatch your bike or large accessory/part we send you an email with the consignment number.

You can track your order by:

  • Visiting the APC website at https://apc-overnight.com/ and use your consignment number and postcode.
  • By calling your local APC Overnight depot on 0800 37 37 37 and quoting your consignment number (provided on your despatch email)
  • Email info@apc-overnight.com with your consignment number in the subject line; Or
  • Simply call our customer service team on +44 (0)800 008 6297

Who is your courier?

For UK bike and large accessory orders, we use APC’s overnight service.

If you have ordered a small part or accessory, we will ship your order via 1st Class Royal Mail.

Beinn 29 adult bikes are delivered via DHL. If you order a Beinn 29 with another bike, all items will be delivered via DHL. View Beinn 29 Delivery Information for details.


What if I am not at home to sign for my order?

Our couriers are required to obtain a signature upon delivery unless you have given them delivery instructions.

You can request the following options by calling APC on 0800 37 37 37.

•           Change delivery date
•           Leave with neighbour
•           Leave in safe place
•           Collect from depot

If this is not possible APC will attempt delivery and will leave a card and email you that they missed you. To rearrange delivery visit APC’s website, or call 0800 37 37 37.

If you receive a calling card/email after an attempted delivery, you have the following options at https://apccalled.com/

PLEASE NOTE: This service is not available for all postcodes, if you need any assistance please call our customer service team on +44 (0)800 008 6297.

You can also leave a note for the delivery driver requesting that the parcel be left in a safe place or with your neighbour. The note MUST include your signature for the driver to scan.


Can I choose a delivery slot?

No, however APC should text and/or email you an estimated two hour time slot the morning of your delivery.


Beinn 29 delivery information

For Beinn 29 bikes we work with DHL. Once despatched your bike should take 1 working day for delivery and requires a signature. Please note that delivery is not guaranteed in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

When we despatch your bike we send you an email with the tracking link and your waybill number.

You can track your order by:

  • Clicking the tracking link on your despatch email.
  • By calling DHL on 0844 248 0844 and quoting your waybill number (provided on your despatch email)
  • Text 07720 33 44 55 with your waybill number
  • Email track@dhl.com with your waybill number in the subject line; Or
  • Simply call our customer service team on +44 (0)800 008 6297.

Outside the UK

When should I receive my bike (Outside the UK)?

We recommend you allow up to 8 working days for preparation, despatch and delivery of your bike.

Once despatched delivery times will vary dependent on your location. Please use our delivery chart for location specific information.


When should I receive my accessories/parts?

Large accessories and parts (such as Beinn 26 mudguards, helmets and track pumps) are sent via DHL and will be delivered within 1-6 working days dependent on your location.  For location specific delivery information, please use our Outside the UK delivery chart.

Small accessories and parts are delivered via Air Mail and should take 5-7 working days for delivery.


Outside the UK delivery chart:

Free delivery on orders over £50.00.
For orders less than £50.00 delivery is £4.99.

International/outside of the EU delivery charges:

If your delivery address is in Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Norway or Switzerland you may be subject to import duties, customs clearance charges and taxes when your order reaches your country. These additional charges are your responsibility and are not included in the price that you pay to Islabikes.

For the countries listed below VAT will be removed at the checkout point and a delivery charge for each bike ordered will be applied.

If you have ordered a small part or accessory, we will ship your order via Royal Mail.


What if I am not at home to sign for my order (Outside the UK)?

DHL offer an on demand delivery (ODD) service that offers you greater control over your delivery. DHL contact you prior to delivery and after an attempted delivery to offer you further delivery options.

These include:

  • the ability to schedule your delivery on an alternative date
  • sign for your delivery in advance so that it can be left in a safe place
  • request that the delivery be left with a neighbour
  • arrange collection from a local service point
  • arrange delivery to an alternative address, or
  • place the delivery on hold until a more convenient date

PLEASE NOTE: This service is not available for all postcodes. If you are not within the ODD service area DHL will contact you prior to delivery via text message, offering you alternative delivery dates. If you are not at home when delivery is attempted, DHL will leave a calling card with a number to contact to rearrange delivery or collection from a local service point.

You can also leave a note for the delivery driver requesting that the parcel be left in a safe place or with your neighbour. The note MUST include your signature for the driver to scan.


Can I choose a delivery slot?

We are currently unable to provide a delivery slot. When your order is collected from Islabikes, our couriers will contact you prior to delivery to offer further delivery options including choosing a different delivery date, alternative address or leaving in a safe place or with a neighbour. See “What if I am not at home to sign for my order?” for further information.


What do I have to do when my bike arrives?

Our set up video guides are located on our Knowledge section.  These include how to fit your front wheel, connect the front brake, fit the pedals and straighten your handlebars.

If your purchase is intended as a gift, we recommend unpacking and checking it prior to the special occasion.

Every Islabike undergoes a thorough pre-delivery inspection and final assembly procedure by one of our trained technicians to ensure:

  • it is safe to ride
  • it features child-specific adjustments
  • it is quality assured

Every Islabike is carefully assembled and quality checked in accordance with EN standards and compliant with UK and Ireland road safety regulations, which may not be applicable within the country of intended use. We will set up the brakes so the rider’s right hand will operate the rear brake where the destination country drive on the right (with the exception of our balance bike). Please ensure that your Islabike conforms to your country’s national road safety requirements before riding on the public highway.

When you receive your Islabike there will be a few simple tasks for you to complete:

For Cnocs and Rothan

Your bike will be fully assembled and everything adjusted so it is ready to ride before it leaves us. We do have to package it for transit, so when you receive it you will have to straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals. There are illustrated instructions in your bike’s box that explain how to do this, along with a hex key set.

For Beinns and Luaths

Your bike will be fully assembled and everything adjusted so it is ready to ride before it leaves here. We do have to package it for transit, so when you receive it you will have to fit the front wheel using the quick release and fit the pedals. If you order mudguards with your bike you will also need to straighten the handlebars. There are illustrated instructions in your bike’s box that explain how to do this, along with a hex key set.

For Creigs

Your bike will be fully assembled and everything adjusted so it is ready to ride before it leaves here. We do have to package it for transit, so when you receive it you will have to fit the front wheel using the quick release and fit the pedals.
